Why is it an arc instead of a ring?
A closed ring tends to rotate, which takes the external arm off the clitoris. The contoured arc is SVibe’s answer to that: it is shaped to hold position so contact is kept through intercourse.
Can it be used in the shower?
No. It is rated Splashproof IPX6, which covers splashes and rinsing but not submersion. Rinse it rather than bathe with it, and make sure it is completely dry before charging.
